OLIVER TOURLE RETURNS TO THE STAGE
Oliver Tourle is back after his successful solo show ‘Live and Backstage’ last year. He’s launching a debut solo EP “S I N G” covering a range of iconic pop songs from past and present.
A singer and performer from Kent he started his career working backstage at the Assembly Hall Theatre at the age of 15 years. Now 26, he is more eager than ever to create the stepping-stones and the opportunities for himself, as well as giving local talent a platform to perform in.
“I love performing and I always have. But perhaps I’ve shied away from it before because sometimes the opportunities to showcase myself as a person weren’t there. I want to prove to people that you should never give up on a dream, always trust yourself and show everything that you have to offer.”
His show” Live and Backstage” at the Assembly hall theatre last November gave a unique glimpse of how the theatre really works, backstage and on stage, as audience members watched his performance from the stage itself allowing them to appreciate the unique vantage point, which most audience members will never get to experience.
“I am very lucky that the theatre gave me such a great opportunity. I wanted it to be a chance where people could experience the atmosphere of a live show, feel that same buzz and see the different elements an audience wouldn’t typically get to see. This year, I wanted to do something just as unique and as special. I just hope people will come out to support the evening in the same way they did last time.”
Join Oliver on his EP Launch Night July but this time at Salomons Estate where he will perform tracks from his Debut EP as well as an acoustic-feel selection of classic songs, past and present with live musicians. So, with other local performers “One Man Plan”, Betsy-Lee Miller and Brooke Wells, a bit of chat, some great songs, and a free welcome glass of bubbly, this is an evening not to be missed!
Oliver Tourle appears at Salomons Estate, Tunbridge Wells on Sunday 23rd July at 7pm. (Doors open at 6pm). Tickets priced at £18.00 ONLY available from www.olivertourle.com
