Our Amazing Animal World
Whether you’re feeling brave enough to hold a large python, or you’d prefer a cuddle with a super soft chinchilla, Our Amazing Animal World offers an array of experiences to appeal to the animal lover in everyone.
Mark and Jerry launched their mobile menagerie in 2015, when their love of offering a home to unwanted animals found them with a rather large furry and scaly family. Starting small, and in between their day jobs, the pair began offering a range of animal experiences and party packages to appeal to all ages. The goal? To educate both children and adults in a fresh, fun and entertaining way while offering a unique opportunity to meet some amazing animals.
Two years on and the business has grown enough for Mark and his sister Kate to work full time and for Jerry to help at weekends to cover the ever-increasing number of bookings. With animals ranging from cuddly chinchillas and meerkats to large snakes and lizards, the pair have offered a home to some ‘really amazing animals’ and love sharing their family with you.
Here’s a snapshot of what the team can offer you:
PARTIES
A large selection of birthday parties to suit all ages ranging from intimate ‘meet and greets’ to larger celebrations and lavish VIP packages. There is something for everyone in these carefully created encounters.
SCHOOLS
Jerry is a qualified teacher with an ‘outstanding’ from Ofsted and loves to help create learning experiences with a difference. Using memorable facts and a wealth of information, the handlers assist the animals in schools enabling the children to learn and experience directly from the animals themselves.
CARE HOMES
Described as some of the most rewarding work the team does, visiting care homes, day units and hospices brings comfort and sensory experiences to patients and their families.
CLUBS
After school and social clubs are a great place to be introduced to some amazing animals in a relaxed, fun and informative way. Cub and Brownie groups are always a very popular visit for the team.
LARGE EVENTS
Whether you are planning a wedding, christening, summer fair or a team building exercise these really amazing animals will leave your guests talking about your event for many years to come.
SEN EXPERIENCES
Both Jerry and Mark have lots of experience working in the area of SEN (special educational needs). Mark worked with both children and adults at Mencap, and Jerry is a qualified SEN teacher with many years of experience specialising in children with learning and behavioural difficulties. With this in mind, they offer unique sensory experiences with a focus on real sensory animals to help in a therapeutic way.

Each year, the Our Amazing Animal World gift certificates have been a huge hit providing an opportunity for people to give loved ones a unique gift.
