Paradox Museum London Rewrites the Rules of Festive Fun This Christmas
In a city steeped in festive tradition, Paradox Museum London is rewriting the rules of Christmas. This year, the Knightsbridge attraction unveils a holiday experience where logic takes a holiday, and wonder leads the way – from snow drifting upwards to a sleigh suspended mid-air.
Bringing together art, science and illusion, Paradox Museum London transforms its 50 interactive exhibits into a world of festive curiosity. Families and friends are invited to step inside a celebration that blurs the line between imagination and reality, creating moments that are both thought-provoking and joyfully absurd.
General Manager of Paradox Museum London, Matt Whiteley says “Everyone decorates for Christmas – we decided to bend it. Our exhibits challenge what you think you know, and this season we’ve filled them with warmth, laughter, and a little mischief. It’s the perfect reminder that seeing differently can be the most magical gift.”
Highlights include a mirrored forest of snow-tipped trees under endless reflections, Santa’s sleigh floating towards Earth, proving even gravity can get caught up in the Christmas spirit and visitors shrinking and stretching in Santa-and-Elf illusions that delight every age.
Guests can also follow the Paradoxmas Trail, uncover hidden clues for a personalized keepsake, and end their visit with a panoramic view of the Harrods Christmas lights from the museum’s balcony.
“Paradox is about curiosity,” adds George Kosmadakis, Paradox CMO. “We want people to pause, play, and reconnect – to feel that spark of child-like discovery again.”
To round off the festive experience visit the gift shop and stock up on quirky gifts for the whole family, from gravity defying hourglass timers to mind bend brain teasers and paradoxical Magic Spinners – there’s something to please curious minds and fun seekers alike. Gift cards for the museum are also available to purchase online, perfect for anyone who loves a little wonder.
Festive installation runs until 4 January 2026
