Pop Up Park opens to visitors at Westwood Cross
The first Pop Up Park was officially opened this bank holiday weekend at Westwood Cross.
Even the grey skies couldn’t keep families away from enjoying the new outdoor space, enjoying picnics, listening to live music and relaxing in the deckchairs.
Francesca Donovan, Centre Manager at Westwood Cross, said: “The opening weekend of the Pop Up Park was a great success. Families spent the weekend enjoying entertainment from human topiary and Punch and Judy.
“There is anticipation in the air ahead of the opening of two new restaurants. Café Rouge and Five Guys will both be open in time for summer, adding to our dining offering and giving guests even more choice when it comes to eating out.”
The Pop Up Park is open throughout the summer until 4th September, providing the perfect place to relax after a long day shopping. Families can picnic al fresco and each weekend enjoy a selection live music, or get involved in other family-friendly activities set to be scheduled throughout the summer.
Donations will be collected for Mencap for use of the deckchairs.
