Folkestone Harbour are incredibly proud to announce that Putters! their 12 hole Adventure Golf Course and Café directly on the Beach is now open. This is an incredibly exciting moment for them. Since first reopening to the public as a visitor attraction in 2015, they have steadily developed our reputation as a food and drink destination.

Now we’re able to add a top-quality, custom-built Adventure Golf Course and Café in a truly beautiful setting to their ever-growing list of things to see and do in Folkestone Harbour, which includes a large outdoor screen in The Goods Yard, a thriving retail space at Folkestone Marketplace, nearly 30 independent food and drink establishments across the site and now a family friendly, classic seaside attraction.

Their Adventure Golf Course is anchored by a brand-new Café on the Beach, housed in a pair of upcycled shipping containers. This new local landmark has been taken on by Jamie and Emily Evans; the husband-and-wife duo behind the incredibly popular Lift Café in Folkestone’s Leas Lift. As well as fantastic coffee, visitors can expect a revolving menu of quality Café snacks, from vegan cookies to Fully Loaded Pretzel Sub Rolls. As parents of young children themselves, Jamie and Emily’s mission is to make sure the food and drink options available at Putters! are varied and of a high quality for children and adults alike.

Currently on the Sub Roll menu is: Ham, Egg and Chips, A Reuben style roll (with a generous helping of pastrami), Fish Finger Sarnie, Cheese Waldorf and Satay Vegan Spring Roll. The course itself is made up of 12 holes of varying difficulty and takes between 45 minutes to an hour to complete, depending on group size and skill level. The course was developed by the creators of the courses at Leeds Castle and Alton Towers. James Davies, Commercial Operations Manager at Folkestone Harbour and Seafront Development Company said:

“We’re delighted to have been able to open Putters! during the 2022 summer holidays. Our teams have been working on this ambitious new project since March, and we can’t wait to see the many who already enjoy Folkestone Harbour embrace this new attraction.”
