ROLEX UK IS RECRUITING IN KENT

Rolex UK is advertising a number of vacancies at their Kent Head office within their After-Sales Department.

 

Rolex, an independent Swiss watchmaking company, is known throughout the world for its expertise and the quality of its products. As the pioneer of the wristwatch, the company is at the origin of numerous major innovations in watchmaking. The Rolex World Headquarters is located in Geneva however the UK was the birthplace of Rolex. Today, Rolex UK has two offices across Kent and London. Rolex opened their purpose built, state of the art building in Kent in 2011 and last year re-opened their London office at St James’s Square after an extensive refurbishment. Today Rolex UK employs more than 200 people across both offices.

The After Sales department ensures that every timepiece leaving a Rolex workshop complies with its original functional and aesthetic specifications. Each movement is completely overhauled and each case and bracelet is meticulously refinished to restore its lustre. Timekeeping, accuracy and water-resistance are rigorously tested to guarantee the level of quality and reliability expected from a Rolex watch.

Technicians join Rolex from a variety of backgrounds, including retail, jewellery making, engineering and pharmaceutical. What they all have in common is a passion for Rolex, exceptional attention to detail, superb levels of dexterity and hand-eye coordination and a high level of concentration and focus. As part of the recruitment and selection process, Rolex conducts a series of tests, including a bench test and other assessments designed to establish whether a candidate has the required aptitude for the role.  If successful, new employees benefit from a comprehensive, in-house training programme.
