Ruxley in Bloom 2025 Annual Gardening Competition
Alex Perseval 2025-03-26
Ruxley Manor‘s annual gardening competition is back! Ruxley in Bloom 2025 will give everyone a chance to get out there and offers everything you could want from a gardening contest.
Ruxley in Bloom is as much about people and the community, as it is about plants and gardening. Founded on the principle that brightening up our outdoor spaces is good for us all, the competition gives individuals and local communities an opportunity to work together to bring about change.
There is free entry, professional independent judges and an abundance of prizes. With a range of categories to choose from, there’s plenty for hardy allotmenteers aiming to be the ‘pick of the crop’ to schools striving to be ‘top of the class’!
Heading up their judging panel is Jim Buttress, former Royal Gardener where he was responsible for Hyde Park, St James Park, Clarence House and Buckingham Palace. Jim has also won 8 gold medals at RHS Chelsea so knows a thing or two about judging!
