Salvation Jayne at Folkestone Quarterhouse
Salvation Jayne
Folkestone Quarterhouse
Friday 4 October, 7pm
Tickets: £8
Kent’s own alt-rockers Salvation Jayne celebrate their third birthday with a headline show at Folkestone Quarterhouse on Friday 4 October, with special guests Karobela and The Ovines.
Having smashed their way into 2019 with packed-out shows including a major slot at Camden Rocks, a raucous set at Ramblin’ Man Fair and a brand new single ‘Jayne Doe’, Kent’s own Salvation Jayne are hotly tipped for big things.
Formed in Canterbury in 2016, homegrown Kent talent Salvation Jayne are rising local stars.
Described by Topper Headon from The Clash as “F****** brilliant!“, the female-led quartet make their own brand of dirty, fuzzy alt-rock and huge dream-pop hooks. Salvation Jayne are Chess on vocals, Tor on Drums, Holly on Guitar and Dan on Bass.
“Salvation Jayne are justifiably rated as one of the UK’s most exciting up and coming bands” – Planet Rock
Salvation Jayne will be joined on the bill by special guests, Kent alt-rockers Karobela and
Medway indie punk band The Ovines on Friday 4 October at 7pm. For more information visit www.creativefolkestone.org.uk or call Box Office on 01303 760750.
