Shangri-La The Shard, launches a series of incredible experiences to toast to its Tenth Anniversary

Marking a decade of special moments above the clouds, London’s highest hotel presents new experiences for guests to explore the city in a new light.

Shangri-La The Shard, London celebrates its tenth birthday with a collection of unique experiences – including becoming the first hotel in London to offer personalised luxury yacht journeys on the River Thames. An exclusive ‘Behind the Scenes’ programme will allow guests to discover the local neighbourhood, while celebrations will be elevated with new decade-themed cocktail, dining and afternoon tea experiences.

Commemorating ten years of creating memories, Western Europe’s highest hotel has welcomed more than half a million guests since 2014. With over 5,000 rooms decorated for special occasions, 3,000 proposals and 200 weddings organised by the hotel’s dedicated team, it continues to be a landmark in London for guests choosing to spend life’s momentous occasions in the clouds.
