Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater will unveil four new screens in late 2017, adding to the existing 13 auditoriums.

Every new seat will be a fully customizable electric recliner, giving guests the opportunity to lie back and relax whilst watching the latest blockbusters.

As part of the expansion, a large format XPlus auditorium will be added, with a supersized, giant screen, which will provide crystal clear projection, ultra-sharp image quality and the brightest 3D experience, as well as a Dolby Atmos™ sound system,the ultimate multidimensional sound experience.

As part of a multi-million pound investment in cinema innovation across the UK, the expansion will utilise the previous Glow location space at the shopping centre, connecting to the existing cinema via a link bridge, and compliment the cinema’s refurbishment in 2014. The expansion is set to be completed in September 2017.
