Dinosaur lovers can rejoice as London’s Natural History Museum releases new dates for its sell-out Dino Snores for Kids experience – a one-of-a-kind overnight stay in the heart of the Museum where guests will sleep alongside an unusual neighbour; a 25-metre blue whale called Hope.

Adding two new dates due to popular demand – Friday September 20 and Saturday 19 October – Dino Snores for Kids gives families a chance to explore the iconic museum after it closes to the general public, treating nature fans aged 7-11 to exclusive after-hours activities.

Arriving at the iconic building in South Kensington, guests will set up camp under the famed blue whale skeleton, or VIP ticket holders will arrive to a ready-made camp bed by Sophie the Stegosaurus. Once camping spots are picked, visitors will head out on their first adventure, a show filled with fascinating facts about the natural world presented by one of the Museum’s scientists, followed by a tour around the Museum by torchlight.

Guests will also get to try their hand at a dinosaur t-shirt workshop, before tucking into a bedtime story and finally bedding down surrounded by the Museum’s celebrated specimens.

After sleeping within a whisper of the Museums incredible creatures, visitors will find themselves awoken bright and early, in time to enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast.

Before the world-famous Museum opens for the day, visitors will enjoy an exclusive morning trail around the iconic galleries exploring the natural world.

Perfect for groups and families with children ages 7-11, Dino Snores for Kids takes place from 18.30 finishing at 10.00 the following day. Tickets to the exclusive event start from £80 per person or £130 per person for VIP tickets.

Tickets to Dino Snores for Kids, the Natural History Museum’s exclusive overnight event, go on sale at 11am on Tuesday 4 June. Visit nhm.ac.uk/events/dino-snores-for-kids to find out more.
