Square One Padel & Social Club in Sittingbourne is Now Open

After a successful phased opening, Square One Padel & Social Club in Sittingbourne is now fully open, with its high-performance gym, bar and restaurant and a pro shop now welcoming members and visitors.

The completion of these facilities transforms Square One into far more than a padel club. Alongside all seven indoor courts, visitors can now enjoy a premium fitness experience, refuel in the stylish bar and restaurant, make use of the luxury changing rooms and showers, browse the latest equipment in the pro shop, or simply relax and socialise in the club’s welcoming surroundings. Whether you’re coming to train, play, catch up with friends or enjoy a meal after a match, everything is now available under one roof.

The club has already welcomed over 2,000 players so far and signed up 250 members since the courts opened for games in April, which has allowed the growing community to get on court as quickly as possible while the remaining facilities were completed. Now, with every aspect of the development operational, visitors can enjoy everything Square One has to offer, whether that’s playing padel, working out in the gym, relaxing over food and drinks in the bar and restaurant, or browsing the latest equipment in the pro shop.

Founder Sam De Haan said: “From the outset, we knew this would be a staged opening because we wanted to get people playing as soon as the courts were ready, rather than waiting until every part of the venue was finished. The response has exceeded all our expectations. Before we had even officially opened, every one of our limited Founder Memberships had sold out, showing just how much excitement there is for padel and for what we’re building here in Sittingbourne.

“Now everything is open, people can experience Square One exactly as we imagined it. It’s not just somewhere to book a court, it’s somewhere you can spend a few hours. You can train in our state-of-the-art gym, play padel with friends, enjoy great food and drinks afterwards, browse the pro shop and become part of a genuinely welcoming community.”

Designed to be much more than a padel club, Square One brings together premium sporting facilities with fitness, food and drink, and a strong sense of community. Whether visitors are coming for an early morning workout, an evening match with friends or simply to enjoy a meal after playing, the venue has been created to encourage people to stay, socialise and return time and again.

As Swale’s first dedicated indoor padel facility, Square One is introducing one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports to a whole new audience. Alongside coaching, beginner sessions, leagues and social events, the club offers a welcoming environment where fitness, wellbeing and community come together.

The completion of the Sittingbourne venue marks another milestone for the Kent-based business, which has already established a thriving club in Ashford and is continuing its expansion with its flagship sports and wellness destination in Maidstone.
