Following a nail biting final on BBC One, vewing by 12.5 million people, Abbey will now recreate her winning moves live on the Strictly Come Dancing UK Tour, as it travels across the country.

Abbey will be joined by a host of stars, including fellow finalists Natalie Gumede and Susanna Reid, actor Mark Benton, former England Rugby player Ben Cohen, Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden and Westlife heartthrob Nicky Byrne.

The judging panel features Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who will also direct the arena tour for the fourth year running. They will be joined by former Strictly favourite Lisa Riley, who returns to the glitterball dance floor as host of the 2014 tour.

Tickets for the 2014 tour went on sale in September and have been selling fast ever since. Over the last five years the tour has sold over 1.5 million tickets. Strictly Come Dancing fans get to watch their favourite dancing couples compete live for votes and the all important feedback of the TV judges in the arenas. The audience members can then vote themselves via their mobile phone.

Arena audiences will experience all of Strictly’s glitz, glamour and breathtaking choreography, right in front of their very eyes.

The 31-show dance spectacular will open at the Birmingham NIA on 17 January. It will then travel to London’s Wembley Arena, Liverpool’s Echo Arena, new for 2014 – Leeds’ First Direct Arena, the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, Manchester’s Phones 4u Arena, culminating at The O2 London on 9 February.

Each celebrity from the current series will be dancing with their fantastic on-screen professional dance partners. These pairings are: Mark Benton and Iveta Lukosiute; Abbey Clancy and Alijaz Skorjanec; Ben Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff; Natalie Gumede and Artem Chigvintsev; Deborah Meaden and Robin Windsor; and Susanna Reid will be dancing with Kevin Clifton. Nicky Byrne will be dancing with his series 10 partner Karen Hauer, and Natalie Lowe will also be joining the tour.

The television format, also known as Dancing with the Stars, entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010 as the world’s most successful reality television show and has been sold by BBC Worldwide to over 43 countries.

The tour has received rave reviews in the national newspapers since it began – the Mail on Sunday awarded the 2013 tour a 4 Star review and the Daily Telegraph said: “The glitzy occasion still sparkles… It was Fab-u-lous”. The Sunday Express have previously said of the tour: “7000 of us raised the roof. Does it get much better?  Not often.”
