Summer Starts at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford

From 21st July –  2nd September, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford will be hosting the ultimate Summer Social, providing endless entertainment for the whole family. Throughout the summer, visitors will be able to browse the centre’s great range of stores, indulge in delicious food offerings, and enjoy activities such as Water Walkers and Bumper Cars.

The Summer Social will introduce a festive outdoor entertainment area to the heart of the centre.  In addition to carnival-style attractions, this family-friendly area will feature a ‘chill-out zone’, offering customers a much-deserved break from shopping until they drop!

Fuelling the fun will be McAthurGlen Ashford’s various food and beverage options. Existing restaurants include Wagamama, Pizza Express, Patisserie Valerie, and Lost Sheep Coffee, with tasty additions coming from street food vendors Notorious Burgers, Cookies & Cream, and Top Dog.

Centre manager Peter Corr commented: “We’re excited to see the Summer Social add a new and exciting dimension to the shopping experience for our customers. No doubt the Bumper Cars and Water Walkers will be a welcome addition for parents with young children, and a great activity following a successful shopping trip. The extensive array of street food will also be the perfect way to end a brilliant day.”

McArthurGlen Ashford is home to 70 stores, appealing to adults and children alike.  Iconic brands such as Kurt Geiger and Links, sportswear including Asics and Sketchers, and beauty favourites like the Body Shop and Molton Brown all feature, and  offer amazing year-round savings of up to 60% off RRP.

McArthurGlen Ashford is currently undertaking a £90m expansion, which will see the centre welcome 50 luxury and premium brands and restaurants, as well as a new food piazza, 725 parking spaces, a new events space and redesigned children’s play area.

The Summer Social will be open from 10am until 8pm Monday – Saturdays, and 10am until 6pm on Sundays between 21st July – 2nd September.
