Find your perfect Christmas Tree at Macknade and support Pilgrims Hospices

Kent treasure, Macknade, the county’s leading food & drink experts, have announced that they will once again support the important work of Kent based charity Pilgrims Hospices, with their Christmas tree scheme.

Furthering their mission to develop and serve the local Kent community, Macknade will donate 5% of the proceeds to the charity, for every Christmas tree purchased from their Faversham and Ashford stores.

What’s more, when the season is over, Macknade Faversham will play host to Pilgrims Hospice’s tree recycling station, so trees can be turned into chippings, rather than discarded.

Leila Ilkhan, Pilgrims Hospices Canterbury Community Fundraising Manager said: ‘We are pleased to be working with Macknade as we expand our Christmas Tree Recycling campaign for 2022. The drop off station at Macknade Faversham will enable more of the local community to support Pilgrims and raise vital funds, so we can continue to deliver our vital work to patients living with a terminal illness in east Kent and their loved ones.’

Grown and nurtured on Rolvenden’s Hole Park Estate, this season’s range of trees at Macknade include the popular Nordmann Fir, potted trees, and other varieties in a range of sizes and styles designed to suit every home or garden.

Available in store now, shoppers can choose their perfect Christmas tree to take home, before stocking up on delicious festive goodies and perfect foodie gifts from the stores, every day right up until Christmas Eve.

Meanwhile, weekend shoppers, will also be able to enjoy festive treats in Macknade Faversham’s bustling Food Village every weekend throughout December.  With seasonal dishes and drinks available all day plus caroling courtesy of local schools, it’s the perfect opportunity to get together with friends and family to celebrate the spirit of the season.
