Tapas Revolution for Valentine’s Day

Treat your loved one to a taste of Spain this Valentine’s Day with a seductive tapas menu specifically designed for couples to share, for an intimate and romantic evening.  Spain’s rich culinary culture of sharing, socialising and eating is perfect for encouraging romance, interaction and conversation alongside delicious tapas dishes.

With this in mind Chef Omar Allibhoy has created a special tapas style Valentine’s menu for couples, available at Tapas Revolution Westfield from the 12th – 14th February, and priced at £25 per person.  The menu includes a jug of Sparkling Tropical Sangria to start, served with Jamon Iberico de bellota and Pan con tomate.  Diners can then enjoy six tapas to share including; Huevos con champiñones y trufa (Baked free range egg with garlic, mushrooms and truffle oil), Gambas al ajillo (Tiger prawns with garlic and chilli oil cooked in the traditional terracotta clay pot) and Croquetas de jamón (Deep-fried Ibérico ham and béchamel croquettes. To finish guests can indulge in a sharing dessert – in Corazón de chocolate y turró, a heart shaped chocolate brownie topped with raspberries coulis and crumbled Spanish almond turrón, served warm.

Tapas Revolution is Omar’s personal interpretation of the fun and bustling tapas bars in his hometown of Madrid. Omar and his team use only the finest Iberian ingredients sourced from small Artisan producers across Spain and freshly prepare all the dishes in-house.
