The 10th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain Airshow

This weekend (28 and 29 of June) will see Aero Legends and AMP Productions’ 10th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Airshow at Headcorn Aerodrome. Once again, the iconic Spitfires and extremely rare Hurricanes will take to the skies with dramatic displays designed to remember ‘The Few’ from 1940.

This is one of a very small number of airshows with an authentic WWII airfield that allows the public to walk up to the aircraft and speak to the pilots.

Soon to be released will be the full line up of aircraft to be displayed. This will be announced once the Royal Air Force has provided their allocation. In addition to the airshow, there is also a schools, recruiting, veterans and seniors’ day on Friday 27 June from 10am until 2pm as the aircraft are arriving with students from ten schools and over three hundred children.
