Bluewater’s Winter Wonderland offers winter fun for the whole family. Enjoy a fun-packed day out with a 6,000 square foot real Ice Rink, a fantastic 40-metre Snow Slide, a magical Christmas 4D Cinema and stacks of traditional rides, amusements and games… all indoor in the warmth of Glow at Bluewater.

Our beautiful 6,000 square foot real ice rink promises great skating for all… but unlike so many others is inside in the warm and dry! As long as you are 4 years old or more you can skate but all 4-7 year olds must be accompanied by an adult on skates (and we recommend 7-12 year olds are supervised too). Up to fifteen Fun Skate Penguins are available for hire on a first come basis from the Skate Hire Counter for £5.00 each. (Please note these are not meant as a skate aid but simply for fun).

Booking in advance at weekends and in the Christmas holidays is advised as demand is high and availability limited!

Back by popular demand! This year’s film is the 4D Christmas classic – Sleigh Ride!

It is Christmas Eve at the North Pole when Santa is accidentally knocked unconscious. Can his top reindeer Blitzen and hapless elf Bobo fly his sleigh around the world? Will the mismatched pair be able to deliver Santa’s presents and save Christmas? Join them as their sleigh weaves the landscape through the night sky, wreaking havoc and mayhem as they go!

Sleigh Ride is an enchanting action comedy adventure suitable for the whole family who will experience snow and wind through their hair during the film!

The 4D cinema screen is inside Winter Wonderland and is suitable for all children. Prices include hire of 3D glasses.

Santa’s Grotto

A magical festive experience awaits your family and friends with a spectacular Santa visit this Christmas at Bluewater’s Winter Wonderland.

You’ll be welcomed at our unique Ice Palace by the Ice Guard and Palace Eskimo who will lead you through the magical tree lined pathway. On your way to see Santa, jump into the bauble pods to have your photo taken and marvel at the magical walkway filled with arctic animals and other festive grotto characters.

At the entrance to the Palace you will be greeted by the Ice Queen who will lead you to the Palace doors where you’ll be met by Santa’s Ice Elves. They will take you through the Palace corridors and in to see Santa who is awaiting your arrival.

During your visit with Santa, each child will be given a luxury, commemorative plush toy and there’s time for a photo keepsake of your visit which you can purchase from the Ice Palace Photo Shop.

Filled with magic, excitement and an enchanting atmosphere, this year’s Santa’s Grotto is a very merry must.
