Twinkling lights, the scent of mulled wine and fir trees, a tickling of tinsel, a jolly old Santa with his trusty reindeer, a party of elves, a dash of fairy dust and much, much more await visitors to Millbrook Garden Centres this Christmas.

Excited children can start their Christmas countdown from late November and gather wide-eyed to watch Santa’s arrival in style to his home until Christmas Eve, before enjoying the other fun children’s activities on offer.

This year’s Magical Millbrook Grotto promises to be full of surprises and tickets are selling fast, so make sure the children are in Santa’s good books and reserve your place early so they can discuss their all-important wish-list with our North Pole visitor before he heads off to load up his sleigh. Santa’s also flown his reindeer over for a special visit in December, so don’t miss the chance to bring the kids along to meet his furry friends.

New this year is an extra special event for children: Tinsel & Teatime with the Elves. Join Santa’s mischievous helpers for festive games, craft activities, plus a yummy buffet Christmas tea.

Discover and be inspired by this year’s big Christmas decoration themes in-store – will it be Mulled Wine or Nordic Glow that capture your imagination? Or perhaps you’d like to try your hand at making your own, unique Christmas wreath, or perfect your wrapping skills in one of our Festive Workshops?

Of course, the centrepiece of Christmas is the tree! For the traditional real tree-seeker, we have beautiful Nordmanns, Norway or Blue Spruces and for those who prefer artificial, we’ve stocked all sorts of shapes and sizes to solve every space/height conundrum.

As always, our lighting department is simply dazzling!  Warm lights, bright lights, coloured lights, flashing lights, candlelights, tree lights, santa lights, reindeer lights, snowman lights, indoor lights, outdoor lights and more lights.

You could also start smugly crossing off your Christmas gift list well in advance of the big day, as our buyers have ensured that Millbrook is bursting at the seams with a huge range of handpicked presents for him, her, kids, gardeners, cooks and foodies. Plus, we’ve got some beautiful ready-wrapped plants, perfect for gifts. The shopping season launches with our special Charity Festive Evening on 17^th November where you can fill your basket at leisure and we’ll also be raising money for the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Service.

And finally, if you’re planning a festive get-together with friends, work colleagues, or need food fuel before you commence your Christmas shopping, our mouth-watering traditional Christmas menu, served in our greencafé, features a host of culinary delights. Think chicken liver paté served with toasted ciabatta and onion marmalade, roast turkey with all the trimmings, followed by a chocolate salted caramel Yule log. Hungry, anyone?
