The Thirsty Farrier Brothers Launch New Cocktail Masterclasses

Kent-based mobile bar business The Thirsty Farrier has officially opened bookings for in-person cocktail masterclasses for 2021.

Formed by brothers-in-business Jon and Dan in 2019, The Thirsty Farrier caters for weddings and events, alongside their hugely popular cocktail masterclasses.

Throughout lockdown, the duo had to adapt their offering by launching online classes – which proved to be a massive success with back-to-back bookings for weeks. The brothers have so far delivered well over 500 cocktail kits as part of the masterclasses, with customers including Made in Chelsea reality stars James Taylor and Maeva D’Ascanio.

Now though, in-line with the easing of lockdown restrictions, The Thirsty Farrier’s popular in-person cocktail masterclasses are back for the first time since 2020 – with bookings available for up to 5 people until 17th May, and then for up to 30 people until 21st June.

Jon and Dan are pleased to announce they are also officially re-opening bookings* for weddings and in-person events – with a personal promise to all customers that if any wedding or event is cancelled due to changes in coronavirus restrictions, every single penny will be refunded.

Dan, co-owner of The Thirsty Farrier, says:

“Our virtual cocktail masterclasses throughout lockdown have been so fun and popular that we will still be continuing these for the foreseeable future, but with lockdown now easing, we cannot wait to get back out and help people celebrate properly. A huge part of what makes The Thirsty Farrier so unique is the bubbly and friendly service that comes with it, and so it’s fantastic that we’re able to provide that fun service in-person again.”

“Our cocktail masterclasses are a great idea for those who want to celebrate in groups, but would rather have their party or drinks in a private garden or outside space. It’s a perfect alternative for those who might be struggling to book a space at their favourite local at the moment – because we can quite literally bring the bar to you. We also understand that the last lockdown has been particularly stressful for many, and so we’d like to reassure everyone that we’ll be offering full refunds for future lockdown-related cancellations.”

The Thirsty Farrier’s cocktail masterclasses run for two hours, and include a private tutorial on how to make four delicious cocktails, for just £45 per person.

Virtual masterclasses range from £20 to £65 per person – and can include all of the equipment, ingredients and garnishes needed to create four delicious cocktails. Packages for virtual classes are sent out via contact-free delivery.
