This Christmas, the magic of the Polar Express is once again enveloping the country

This Christmas, the magic of the Polar Express is once again enveloping the country. From Scotland all the way down to the coast of Devon, the Polar Express Train Ride is steaming into a station somewhere near you, thanks to license partners Rail Events International. Leading the charge as the largest provider of the Polar Express Train Ride in the UK is PNP Events, based in Telford. They are responsible for 4 of the 9 events running this year and providing theatrical support to another. Bringing the awe and wonder of the Polar Express is a privilege and responsibility that the memory-makers at PNP Events Ltd do not take lightly! With years of experience and a highly skilled team behind them, they are storming to the forefront of making magical Christmas memories, taking over 125,000 people to the North Pole this Christmas.

One of this year’s new events, Spa Valley Railway in Royal Tunbridge Wells has its own part to play in this mammoth North Pole trip – their beautiful steam engine will be taking almost 33,000 passengers on board for the train ride of their life. From the second our guests arrive at the station, they will be welcomed and immersed into the world of the enchanting book and film which inspired the train ride. With singing and dancing chefs to entertain you along the way, along with the beloved characters from the film who will draw you ever more into the story.

No trip to the North Pole could be complete without a delicious and warm hot chocolate, accompanied by a giant, chocolate studded cookie. These will be delivered to you with a smile and a song, and while your insides are warming, we’re steaming ever closer to the North Pole! When we arrive there, you’ll only briefly be distracted by the Elf Village outside as Santa Claus himself arrives in your carriage, there to pay you an extra-special visit.

Spa Valley’s Polar Express Train Ride will help bring visitors to Spa Valley Railway after an incredibly difficult 18 months for the heritage sector. This is partially the driver behind PNP Events Ltd’s rapid expansion at a time when other events companies have sadly had to downsize or close. “We are unique because as a team, we are passionate both about railways and the heritage sector and also about events and making memories!” says director Phil Neal of PNP Events. “We are proud to be a small part of helping heritage railways bounce back after this difficult time!”.

Although Spa Valley’s Polar Express is sold out for 2021, keep checking the website as ticket alerts for 2022 will soon be available. With tickets selling out in record time for Wensleydale, you will not want to miss out on the most magical train ride of all next year- and it just might be your crucial year. All aboard!
