Kidsbury Role Play Village is a magical space in Tunbridge Wells where children aged 1 to 7 can embark on immersive, real-world adventures through imaginative role play. Designed to foster creativity, cognitive development, and social interaction, Kidsbury isn’t just a play centre – it’s a creative experience that promotes learning through fun!

Kidsbury is a town made just for children! Featuring twelve vibrant, interactive zones that represent different aspects of real life. From a fully stocked supermarket to a bustling post office, every zone is designed with care to encourage open-ended, meaningful play. Children can also try their hand at recycling, enjoy a dance session in the studio, or explore the wonders of nature in the gardening centre – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Each play area helps children to develop key skills such as problem-solving, empathy, and teamwork, the open-ended environments are perfect for allowing young imaginations to run wild.

Kidsbury CEO Sean Turner said “At Kidsbury we believe in sustainability and thoughtful design. We’ve carefully selected wooden toys and eco-friendly materials throughout the village, creating a tactile, aesthetically pleasing space for children that teaches about environmental responsibility. The same is true in our relaxing cafe space where healthy, high quality snacks and drinks are available to purchase.”

More than Play – It’s a Learning Experience

So while your children are absorbed in role-playing, they’re also learning. Whether they’re exploring the world of retail, trying their hand at being a doctor or a hairdresser, they’re picking up valuable skills. Each play zone is tailored to introduce kids to real-life roles and responsibilities in a fun way. They also offer a host of special events and workshops that bring families and children together.

As a family business, Kidsbury are proud to offer subsidised play sessions to help ensure accessibility for all families. It’s a venture built on the belief that every child deserves the chance to learn and grow through play
