Valentine’s Day art afternoon tea at Mirror Room at Rosewood London

Mirror Room, the stylish all-day dining room housed inside luxury hotel Rosewood London, will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu this February. Mirror Room’s current Yayoi Kusama inspired Art Afternoon Tea will receive a romantic Valentine’s Day twist this year for those looking to celebrate the occasion with a loved one. Priced at £75 per person, guests can expect a selection of Japanese sandwiches from Chicken teriyaki and spring onion to Crispy rice cracker, yuzu avocado and keta caviar as well as classic pastries and show stopping cakes influenced by Kusama’s works, all reimagined in a red and pink colour palette to mark the occasion.  The menu is accompanied by a glass of fizz or 0% alcohol sparkling wine, so guests can toast the special day.

Indulge in elegant truffle dishes at Bar des Pres

Bar des Pres, the intimate Franco/East Asian restaurant in Mayfair, has added a number of new delectable Perigord truffle dishes to the menu – the perfect way to indulge on a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. Be at the centre of the action at the counter, or book one of the intimate booth tables. Enjoy roasted hand-dived scallops and Jerusalem artichokes on a bed of silky velouté, elegantly topped with wafer thin slices of black Perigord truffle, and Artichoke salad made with yuzu truffle vinaigrette, rocket and pine nuts. Sides are given the luxury treatment too, as black truffle is both lavishly stirred into the signature mash potato and then plentifully shaved on top. Finish the evening with classic French desserts like the perfectly crisp Vanilla Mille-Feuille or a traditional chocolate souffle. 




Intimate Latin American Jazz night at Amazonico London

On Monday 14th February, Latin American restaurant Amazonico will host The Palm Swing Jazz Club, where guests can enjoy the seductive sounds of Samba and smokey jazz throughout dinner. Tastebuds will be tantalised with Amazonico’s Latin American inspired menu from elevated street food staples to traditional plates, as well as a variety of sharing dishes perfect for this romantic occasion. Indulge in Navajas: Marinated Razor clams, corn gazpacho and vegetable escabeche; Causa de Vieiras: Hand dive scallops and purple potatoes served with an acevichado caviar sauce; Lubina al Mojo: Pan fried wild caught sea bass, cassava and white tucupi. For a sweet end to the meal, guests will be treated to Bocado de la selva, a coconut steam cake with chili infused mango and kaffir lime ganache. Guests are welcome to finish their evening in the Lounge, enjoy the sounds from the band while sipping on some of the bar’s signature cocktails.

Garden House, the new restaurant set within the Graduate Hotel in Cambridge will be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year with a fantastic variety of delicious sharing specials. Guests will be able to dine from their a la carte menu as well as experiencing the new dishes especially for Valentine’s day, these will include; oysters with a rhubarb mignonette, Sirloin with truffled bordelaise sauce and a delightful Chocolate & olive oil delice with buckwheat ice cream. Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Le Comptoir Robuchon
Six-course Tasting Menu with Wine Pairings and Live Jazz Music

Le Comptoir Robuchon, the Mayfair restaurant endorsing the legacy of chef Joël Robuchon with modern, innovative and seasonal recipes, is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special six-course tasting menu and live jazz music. The perfect setting to mark the occasion, guests can expect a collection of indulgent dishes created by the restaurant’s Head Chef Dario Avenca while being serenaded by Jazz singer Kerry Jo  and her guitarist as they perform the classics.

To start, guests will be welcomed with a glass of rosé Champagne or a cocktail of their choosing, including two special Valentine’s Day creations on the day. Expertly crafted by Le Comptoir’s bar team, sip on the Valentina, a blend of Chase grapefruit gin, Italicus, Sassy cider, rose petal syrup and cranberry or the Valentino, a mix of Tapatio tequila, lime cordial and grapefruit bitter. The six-course menu will offer dishes such as:

  • Le Crabe – crab, sea urchin, finger lime and caviar

  • La Truffe – slow cooked egg, black truffle, parmesan rice cake

  • L’Agneau – cannon of lamb, potato pissaladière, olive jus, ginger bouillon

  • Le Litchi – lychee, raspberry mousse, rose water

Le Comptoir Robuchon’s Head Sommelier Charlotte Page has also created a wine pairing, each glass carefully sourced and handpicked to compliment each dish. 

Le Comptoir Robuchon’s Valentine’s Day menu is available on 14th February from 12pm-2:30pm and from 5:30pm – 11pm. Valentine’s Day at Il Borro Tuscan Bistro London 

This Valentine’s Day,  Il Borro Tuscan Bistro London will be honouring the romantic day with a special menu created by chef Andrea Campani. Guests will be able to dine from a selection of authentic Italian dishes including; Oysters, Sears Hand-dived scallops with foie gras and balm truffle. In true Italian style, there will also be two decadent pasta dishes on the menu including; Beetroot cappellacci filled with lobster and fresh burrata and a Gnocchi al ragù. For those with a sweeth tooth, diners will be able to round off their perfect Valentine’s evening with a Raspberry and white chocolate millefeuille. 

The expert bar team at Il Borro have also created two exclusive cocktails for the Valentines weekend including the Inamorati which translates as lovers and The Musa cocktail.

There will be two menu options, one priced at £125pp which will include the aperitivo, an antipasto, one pasta, a main course and a dessert. The second menu will be priced at £143pp which will also include a bottle of Perrier Jouet Champagne.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with TOKii’s Japanese-inspired Afternoon Tea

TOKii, the Japanese fusion restaurant housed inside the 5-star hotel The Prince Akatoki London in Marylebone, will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with a spectacular afternoon tea. Opening especially for Valentine’s Day dinner at Al Mare, Executive Chef Marco Calenzo has designed a lavish seven-course seafood tasting menu that takes you on a journey across the Italian Riviera to celebrate love.
