Account Manager – Media Sales
Competitive Salary, + uncapped OTE
- Laptop & Mobile Phone Allowance.
- Location – Coachworks, Ashford, Kent with field sales across the county.
- Full Time (although part time may be considered) Monday – Friday

Our award-winning company, which currently publishes successful Kent luxury lifestyle magazines and annual publications, is seeking a charismatic account manager for Kent’s biggest monthly publication.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fun but professional company at an exciting time of expansion. Based in a lively office in Ashford’s creative hub, Coachworks, you will need to be ambitious, organised, reliable, comfortable working to targets and self-motivated to manage your day to day schedule, but have a team mentality to support the rest of the media sales team in hitting daily, weekly, monthly and annual targets.
You will be supported through daily contact with the Publishing Director and will work with the support of the Sales Manager and wider sales and editorial team both at Coachworks and at various locations across Kent on a regular basis
You will be an excellent communicator who can handle both face-to-face and telephone interaction with clients with ease. You should be well connected in Kent and be equally adept at both developing new business contacts and maintaining existing customer relationships.
As well as being target driven and ambitious, your ability to negotiate will be second to none, and you will back this up with good admin and IT skills. Your role will be varied including selling one-off features and repeat series bookings; relationship building with Kent businesses, attractions, and marketing professionals through cold-calling, networking and in-person meetings; sourcing leads; liaising with the editorial team to plan space; routine admin, email correspondence and invoicing; attending Kent events and meetings with the sales team.
‘Deadline’ is our middle name and the team never misses a target, so you will need to be ready to hit the ground running and prepared to reach the levels of success that you know you’re capable of.
You will have a small client base to start with, with a determination to build up your own database of clients through cold calling and in-person introductions.
While sales experience is a plus, full training would be offered to the right person.
