Taking place on 7th, 8th and 9th July from 8am to 6pm daily at Kent Showground, Detling, The Kent County Show brings together the very best of Kent with animals, food, fun and excitement giving a true feel of what The Garden of England has to offer.

Champion Beef Award (1)

The main Astor Ring will feature The Shetland Pony Grand National on all three show days, and, new for 2017 is Dexter, an animatronic, two-year-old baby Tyrannosaurus. He has proved that no matter how old we are, we are still fascinated by these prehistoric creatures. Dexter will also be bringing his wrangler, who will be on hand to keep the noisy dinosaur in check.

The ‘Countryside and Game’ area of the Kent County Show has grown in popularity over the past five years too, showcasing unmissable entertainment including The Hawking Centre, with their awesome free-flying birds of prey, and the brilliant Dog and Duck display where collie dogs herd ducks skilfully through a course around the ring.

With a visit to the Kent County Show, the opportunities to be entertained are endless.
