One of the UK’s most exciting fashion illustrators is coming to Tunbridge Wells this May. Connie Lim, whose work has been commissioned by Chanel, Dior, Miu Miu and Alexander McQueen, will lead an exclusive fashion illustration workshop at the Royal Wells Hotel on 28 May. Connie will guide guests through each pose at their own pace, whether they have never picked up a pencil before or are seasoned life drawers.

Trained at Central Saint Martins in London and the Art Centre College of Design in Pasadena, Connie’s work has been shown in galleries internationally and she features in Taschen’s The Illustrator: 100 Best from Around the World.

“I am always drawn to events where people come without expectation and leave having surprised themselves,” said Connie Lim. “This evening is not about perfection. It is about slowing down, looking at the world a little differently, and giving yourself permission to try something new. I can’t wait to visit Tunbridge Wells and see what the community creates on the night.”

Co-founder Gabby Icke brings over a decade of professional styling experience and will dress live model Federica Magistrali in a series of striking, timeless outfits. Together, Gabby and co-founder Charlotte Lyon will share their styling secrets and the story behind Through Your Wardrobe.

This evening will be one to remember.”
